Holiday Outfit

It's Christmas Eve! And I'll tell you what's going on in the Goswick house right now. It is lightly snowing. Poopy Puppy is all snuggled up in a blanket by a nice roasty toasty fire going and Katherine and I filled the kitchen with smells of freshly made cheesy pizza goodness. There is also a pecan gingersnap cheesecake in the oven and homemade carmel boiling on the stove top. Oh yes. Christmas time is here. And I am going to eat so much yummy foodssssss!!!!! What is your favorite Christmas foods??

Totally unrelated to Christmas foods is this post. I have for you an outfit post on my rockin' jumpsuit. It's called the Cosmos Jumpsuit from Anthropologie. Glasses from a little vendor in New York City... good luck finding the exact pair ;)... Black booties from Target. Gold Bangles from Forever 21. Charm bracelet- vintage find.

Hope everyone is enjoying their holiday season! I am so thankful I'm home! Home is so so so good.

P.s. I'm sorry I've been slackin' on the December posts...I promise I'll be better after this busy season.

Merry Christmas sweeties!

Merry Almost Christmas

Hi sweeties!!! It's almost Christmas time! Yippee!!! Love Christmas...I mean who doesn't?? In our family, I am always the first to wake up. I still get excited about stockings and Santa Clause of course. But now that we're all older... I am the one who becomes Santa and fills the stockings in the morning :( haha. Santa has been slacking for the past few years. When I was younger, Santa and his elves were a lot more efficient about stockings, eating the cookies my sister's and I laid out for him. Oh well, I understand that Santa has lots to do. After stockings, we get some coffee and bake our annual coffee cake to accompany it. So delish.

Then before we start opening our presents, we have to do chores. My dad always says that the hawses (our name for horse), the puppies, kittles (our name for cat), and cows need a Christmas treat too. So he takes forever to do chores that morning and we don't start our morning till really late! So funny. Then we read the Christmas story, because after all, Christmas is celebrating Jesus' birth! We have so much to be thankful for. There is always always always something to be thankful for. I really feel for all those who are hurting in the world right now though. Especially all of those families in Connecticut. What happened breaks my heart. I pray that the Lord gives them some comfort through this hard time.

Last week, Brennan and I spent a night cuddled up sipping hot cocoa and tea and talking about our family Christmas traditions. It is so fun to hear what his family does for Christmas. It's even more fun to imagine what our family traditions will be one day!

One tradition that we wanted to start doing is annual Christmas pics. So here are our first ever Christmas pictures together :). Merry almost Christmas!! Would love to hear your favorite Christmas tradition. Comment below...makes my day to hear from you all!!

Dressing On The Side

Hi sweet readers. I hope everyone is doing well. I'm sorry that I've been a little absent. Normally I post very frequently but I've been going through finals and, I don't know, I'm just really burnt out :(. Burnt out with everything! The blog, work outs, photos, everything! Do you guys ever feel like that? I think I put so much emphasis on my blog: to try to get followers and then I start comparing myself to others who are more successful than me. It is not good :( So I took a little break for awhile. I took a break of all Facebook, the Blog, my tumblr, and website. It was really nice. I may do it again every so often I start to put myself down. Because that is not good! And I encourage anyone who feels the same to just give it a rest and be proud of yourself. Be proud of yourself for who you are and what you do!! (Trust me, I need to take this advice too sometimes :))

Okay so on to the post. These are from a fantastic company, Dressing On the Side. I am so thankful I'm able to represent them! They sell T-shirts. Not just any T-shirts though. These tees are adorable. See for yourself :).

Here is their Facebook page....I highly suggest you go on over there and give them a like :)

In these two looks, I'm wearing the "Sweet" tee and the "Food for Thought" tee.

I'm doing a photo shoot for the company over Christmas break...so stay tuned for more of their great product!

eShakti Shoot

Hi sweet readers! Hope everybody's days going wonderful.

I have a new outfit post for you! I was so excited to receive my complimentary eShakti skirt in the mail! I am so blessed to be able to represent eShakti by wearing their fabulous designs! In this shoot, I'm modeling the cotton gray maxi skirt. One of the great things about eShakti, is that they give each customer the option of customization to fit each person just perfectly. So with mine, since I am taller, I had them elongate my skirt longer than it would have been normally. I love it long! Along with this great feature, they are also very affordable so that every woman has no excuse but to be fashionable.

Here is their Facebook Page. Here is their Pinterest Page. I suggest you click on those links and give them a like!
